against teams who play a different style to Newcastle, our tactics today were wrong and the players shit simple as that

I didn't even think Newcastle played that well, they out fought us though and our defending was shocking.

We didn't seem to have a game plan apart from hitting the ball over the top for Bent to run on to.

exactly my point. the players were shite. before the game 99% of us would have picked exactly same team. today they were simply not up to it.

agree with you. they just didn't turn up. exactly the same team that beat villa at home.

defending was shocking. gave them far too much space. they were beaten in most areas of the pitch. a very poor performance on the pitch
