Not a Bruce Fan, but I think we need to be sure who comes in next.

Dead easy to ask for the present manager to leave. Far harder to correctly predict the right next one in. These threads are here for posterity by the way and anyone who correctly predicts the next manager is banned from singing 'next manager's name here, out' six months down the line (after all the board do not get that sort of luxury).

Last time we changed manager at this time of the year and in this sort of position we appointed Howard Wilkinson. That went well!!

I am 100% of the opinion that Bruce should go, however you make a good point in that we need someone lined up - everytime we've sacked a manager in living memory we've then started the search for a new one - and sometimes ended up in a worse predicament.

We're fortunate in that at present there are a number of good managers out of work who imo would do a good here - O'Neill and Hughes are standouts, and Benitez could be an interesting one to throw into the mix too.
