well it is as simple as it sounds, notspavin used a similar technique for his entry last month, anyway basically the picture is took in total darkness using a tripod and a torch, the camera is set to bulb mode meaning the shutter is left open for as long as its pressed ( this one being 68 seconds) now in that time you basically paint a picture with the torch and as im moving about and not standing still the camera doesn't see me, it just sees the impression left by the torch.

This was the first attempt at my entry.
 Flickr. Spent an age playing about with it til I got to the collar, then realised that I was snookered.
