I'm ready for Sunday, are you?
Well boys and girls, it’s looking like a few of us, well 38,000 plus to be exact, will be spending a rather chilly Sunday afternoon together at the temple they call The Stadium of Light.
Oh how I long for those two or three games each year when it’s the short sleeved Sunderland top and sunglasses and you are in danger of leaving the East Stand with a bit of sun burn, Sunday wont be like that.
For me its my sexy best, thermal underwear with two pairs of thick socks., when I say thermal it’s the waist to ankle type, told you it was sexy.
My fur lined boots complete the attempt to keep my feet warm and its T-Shirt under my Sunderland shirt, under a thick sweater, under a storm proof coat zipped up to the chin.
On my head sits my Sunderland baseball cap and my thermal Sunderland gloves will try hard to keep some feeling in my hands.
My thermos will be filled with hot coffee for half time and a hot pie before taking my seat completes my preparation.
Of course none of this will be needed because the scintillating play and glut of goals from the boys in Red and White will warm us all up nicely.

Re: I'm ready for Sunday, are you?
Always ready for our next match. The pitch will be ok for this one, but how's things around the SOL, the match could be called off because of the roads/walkways around the SOL.
Things are pretty grim over here in Carlisle. The A69 and the A66 have been closed for much of today due to the weather and resultant accidents.
