    It seems a complete waste of time playing all of those games, then taking your reserves to the 2nd leg of the knockout stage.

    But then Pulis is an odd little man.

    I just cant fathom what Pulis has done.

    One of, if not the biggest game in Stokes history, only one goal down and he plays Woodgate and Collins in the back four and leaves pretty much his entire starting front 6 at home. All in preparation for a game against Swansea. He has taken the first team to the far reaches of Europe in the early stages and then worries about them being tired up from a quick eaasyjet hop over to Spain.

    Its not as if Stoke are going to be anywhere near the relegation spots at the end (one can hope).

    Crouch would have more than likely buried the header that Jones fluffed early on.

    Funny though.
