    Default Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Been playing this relentlessly recently, but finding the later parts of the game bloody tough!

I'm onto the S class races now, but there are two A class races I can only get to third place in.

A-8 is one where you have to overtake the rest of the field in one lap in your Ferrari F430 on the Daytona road course. It's fucking solid, you approach the first corner at about 150mph but have to slow to 60ish to do it. It seems impossible to do that without spinning out of control?? You could approach a lot slower, but then the other cars would be off in the distance with no chance of overtaking them all. There is an escape road to the left you can take but it is so narrow that its impossible to avoid a barrier collision at that speed, and there is a similar event in the S class races where you are penalised for taking that road, so want to do it properly anyway.

A-3 on the Eiger Nordwand (reverse) in your BMW M3 is also fooking solid, can only get the bronze time.

Finding it very difficult to control the tuned cars in the S class events, any sort of cornering, braking or sometimes even just taking your foot off the accelerator seems to send you into a spin! Also not sure exactly how i should be tuning the cars.

Anyone play this and have any tips?

look at the lap leaders and then do some ghost laps against their top laps - once you figure out the line they take and where they brake you'll find within 30 mins you're getting some pretty bloody good times.
