    All over. Contador wins

Schleck attacking had his chain come off and then el pistole attacked.

    Shame

At least Schleck was attacking to try and win this. Contador could sit on his wheel and win the tour without doing any real riding. Been a bit dissapointed with Contador so far, but we should see him show his cards on the col de tourmalet.

Contador's basically been doing what Indurain and Armstrong used to do before today.

There's two Tourmalet's this year of course (they go up it midway through one stage then again for a mountain top finish the day after) and it's the second one that's key.

I was disappointed at Contador yesterday. Not really because of the incident on the road - it's debatable whether he did anything really wrong there. The problem for me is what he said in the interview afterwards. When asked about it he said that he had already attacked before Schleck had problems, and so he was not aware that Schleck's chain had come off. This was a downright lie - he was directly behind Schleck when the chain came off - Schleck was practically at a standstill when he went past him. Also the team radio would have been keeping him constantly updated after that as well.

I have always thought that Contador was a decent bloke up until this. I mean, why lie about it?

he has released a video apology...belatedly realised not the best thing he has done.
As you say it's the stupid lies( I was attcking, I didn't know he had a mechanical) that make him lok daft.

Contador may well have pulled Schleck back, but to say he was attcking at that moment is nonsense.

    Winner's don't wait.

I don't see Lewis Hamilton at the side of the road waiting for Button to catch up if he has a puncture
