Silly Season in Thailand
Officially starts tomorrow, put up in here water and talc powder has be flying about for 2 days.
Gonna be a good weekend for getting pissed in the village though. Got whole family turning up tomorrow from various places in Thailand so plenty of drinking over the weekend. I have however got a restraining order against any kids under the age of 50 coming anywhere near I am drinking with their water pistols

Have been to Thailand a few times but never during Songkran. Would like to experience it at some point. I assume it is better experienced in the sticks with people heading home from the big cities. Is that right? Bit like Lebaran in Indonesia or Easter in Phils?
