from an australian supporter a long way from the sol the only indication of the opinion of the punters is from this forum, its looking dire!

there does not seem to be alot of unity over there, seems as though a lot of the fans are pretty fickle and are arnt showing up to the games.

other clubs supporters seem to hold together a little better through shit form than you mackems...

A couple of points:

a) don't use this board as a means of gauging the opinions of SAFC - annonymous message boards like this a full of mags on a wind-up, pretend football fans, lonely individuals looking to start some bother etc .... of course there are plenty of proper SAFC supporters on here but genuine fans' opinions (talking to people at the game, in pubs before / after game, at work etc..) and this board rarely match.

b) during tough times there are always splits within the fanbase. One of the great things about football is that it is all about opinions ... and when people are as passionate about football as we are, tensions run high when things aren't going well and unfortunately, in-fighting goes on.

c) other supporters hold together better??? fuck off, mate!

Shit form? 3 month nightmare 2 seasons in a row? He'd be out of a job at a lot of clubs and most fans would be baying for blood! Are you a mag, a wum or just a retard?

I guess its a little different over here in aus, usually it takes more poor results to get a manager sacked compared to the premier league, that applies to all the footy codes as well btw.

To be honest mate, we're from England. There's a difference. We're working from a negative viewpoint from the start. If everything's ok, it's pretty shit. wasnt born there...
lots of australians 'adopt' a premierleague team to follow, but you if you asked them if they were cockney, scouser, mag etc they would say no. unless they were expats.
