Sunderland AFC would like to advise supporters of the application process for tickets for the forthcoming Tyne-Wear derby at St James Park, which takes place on Sunday 31 October 2010,

Due to the anticipated high demand,
only those season card holders who have attended at least 12 away fixtures through SAFC’s loyalty point system, over the previous three seasons (2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10 and also the current 2010-11 season) are invited to apply for tickets. Supporters are advised however that submitting an application does not guarantee you will receive a ticket. Any application from a season card holder with less than 12 loyalty points will be not be processed.
Tickets will be priced at £42 for adults, £34 for over 65s/full-time students and £21 for under 18s.
Applications can be made online at
www.safc.com from Monday 27 September or alternatively, application forms are available from the Stadium of Light ticket office. All applications must reach SAFC no later than 5pm, Thursday 14 October, 2010.
A complimentary bus service to and from St James Park will be provided by SAFC. Fans are requested to arrive at the stadium no later than 1pm and this service will depart under escort at 1:30pm promptly. SAFC stewards will be on board each bus to facilitate supporter comfort and safety.
SAFC would urge supporters to take advantage of this complimentary bus service and fans should indicate on their application (in the comments box) the number of bus passes they require.
There will be no general sale of tickets for this game and all tickets are non-transferable.
