    on an institutional scale?

Or is it just the public ventilation of such behaviour that makes it seem worse than it is?

Reporter found dead. The Met looking like twats, resignations, the IPCC as usual finding nothing wrong. Of course they're not corrupt.

Will not find any former officer guilty of anything. If they do however it will be minor and just a recommendation only.

    Extremely corrupt.
Not just the NI scandal, personally I have no problem with the death penalty apart from the number people coppers fit up, innocent people would get hung.
    Guildford Four
    Birmingham Six
    Cardiff 3
    Michael Stone is probly innocent
Barry George (guilty of being a sad wanker)
    Sally Clark
The list is huge actually if you are bothered to research it.

With most miscarriages of justice the crime is pretty heinous and the cops are under enormous scrutiny from politicians, the press and public to get a conviction.

I've been a victim of crime 8 times, car nicked x 2, burgled x 4, victim of assault x 2, guess how many arrests; fucking zero, how many SOCO officers fucking zero!
The only time they came close to catching someone was when I came back from Southampton pissed one Saturday night, I'd forget my key, missus was away, so I had to break in my own house.
