Default Why no animosity towards Hendo...

when a lot of what has transpired is exactly the same as Darren Bent?

He got the same agent, said he loved the club, then by all accounts let the club know that he wanted to leave. Giviing us very little option as no one is going to turn down £20m for a decent prospect but currently average Premier League player.

Only difference being that it's Liverpool and not Aston Villa but both clubs are a level up from us, Villa have been ever presents in the Premier League so even though we were above them at the time and they were in a relegation (was never going to happen) fight, we'd be kidding ourselves if we said we were bigger than them.

More evidence that I believe shows that Henderson can do no wrong in many people's eyse purely because he's young and local.

He has ambition, they have ambition.

Ultimately he's going nowhere at Sunderland

Villa's ambition was to avoid relegation

    For gods sake man.
Bent lied out of his teeth, didnt try and legged it on derby day before a bid had even been made. If you think thats at all similar to henderson then i despair

Probably because he never publically stated that he wanted to finish his career here?

Probably because he didn't look disinterested during games?

Probably because he didn't hand in a transfer request just before a key Derby game?

I personally think he's being very unloyal. But footballers are mercenaries.

It's just that it was a shock when Bent did it. It's not a surprise any more.

Because Quinn has been saying since January that if the right offer came in they'd have to assess Jordan's situation at the club?

Cant blame the lad for wanting to move on. He's been slagged off to hell on here.

This. Henderson has done nothing wrong. His employers were prepared to get rid of him.
