    Rooney _ injured

    Defoe _ out of form

Crouch - 10 minutes every week?

Cole _ total loss of form

Rooney will go even if he is injured.
Crouch will go as he has a good goalscoring record at international level
Defoe will go because he is better than Bent in all of these amazing and important ways that I have failed to see.
Heskey will go because he must give it to Fabio in the showers.

If we take 5 strikers Bent SHOULD go, but it would not surprise me if Cole went because he plays for Wist 'Aaaam and they won the World Cup, dont ya know.

How is Defoe out of form? Goal against Chelsea, assist against Arsenal.

Defoe is a flat track bully. Have you seen his away goals record? As the OP says - none of the rest have any form, and Bent certainly has, plus he is the third highest Premiership scorer over 5 seasons, behind Rooney and Ronaldo. So what exactly does he have to do (apart from play in London...) ?

If we only took 2 strikers Bent should go.

Crouch doesn't matter. He may have scores lots of goals against estonia and jamaica but that doesnt impress me at all.

Crouch plays out of his skin for England every cap he gets.

He should start with Rooney. Bent should be in the squad too. Fuck the "take a complete biff in order to run around up front" mentality that keeps Heskey/Zamora/Cole in the hunt.
