I honestly believe that the penalty incident completely killed the game. We were on top, without really creating anything much of note, at the time it was given. The game had been even up until then. The goal completely deflated us and handed the initiative to Liverpool, who were able to just sit back and defend for the second half, which they did very well. If the penalty hadn't been given I reckon we might have got something from the game. At the very least, we'd not have looked so inept.
