In that sense, having Jordan Henderson in your team is like - making love - to a beautiful woman...

Re: Manc fans on henderson watch....
supposedly he's a United fan aswell. Seems all those stories linking him to us have some credence, much in the same way all those stories linking us to Valencia did...
Where the hell did this supposedly come from

With his father running his own double glazing company and his mother working as a fitness instructor, Henderson's teenage talent was bolstered by a solid middle-class background in Sunderland where he attended Farringdon Community Sports College.
Leisure time was spent cheering on the local team with both parents, first at Roker Park and, later, the Stadium of Light — although he did harbour a boyhood attraction towards Manchester United. "When I was little my heroes were David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Roy Keane," he says. "I"ve always liked the way Manchester United play the game." Unfortunately he was a little young to savour Bruce's Old Trafford pomp. "I'm sure he was very good though," he adds, diplomatically.

Like his native region's magnificent, but relatively little known coastline and countryside, Henderson proved a hidden treasure for a surprisingly long time.

Re: Manc fans on henderson watch....
Ive said it all along if they want him they will have to pay big. Money city fc want him and all the top teams so with that comes the price tag, ohh hes english too bang on another few million. At this point if he left for anything less than city have paid for the likes of milner and lescott id be pissed off.

He admitted that he liked Giggs, Beckham, Scholes etc when he was a bairn, but he's very much a Sunderland supporter.

The arrogance of that lot is unbelievable. They think its a foregone conclusion that he's their player and that we have no right to be expecting more than £12m for him. They need a reality check.

Independent yesterday, sure the interview said he supported them as a boy as he loved Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Keane etc.
Really hope we can keep hold of him
