Looked interesting at first glance but I suspect it's going to be another Matrix. Shite in other words.

True. But then again, that's like comparing a scratch with full-blown AIDS.

Just out of interest why didn't you like it? I thought it was amazing personally, but it is right up my alley, sci-fi with Nolan directing, plus stuff exploding and gunfights. I'm away to see it again tonight which isn't something I do very often at the cinema, only Dark Knight and Batman Begins I've done it with before (you may sense a theme emerging like )

Far, far better than the Matrix imo. But then I like the Matrix so it might not appeal anyway.

Must be something wrong with me - I thought Dark Knight was rubbish (having kept it reasonably real the first time, Nolan let his follow up get completely silly) and all three of the Matrix trilogy were excellent.

I absolutely adore The Dark Knight, up there as one of, if not my favourite film of all time. I really like Batman Begins but the scale, the performances and the stunts of the Dark Knight trump it every time for me. Matrix 1's great, some cracking fight scenes, but 2 and 3 just get a bit silly for me, and the cod-philosophy schtick starts to wear by about halfway through the second one.

I came out of the cinema dissapointed after watching Inception yesterday...Effects were awesome but it was just too convoluted...dreams within dreams within dreams...blah blah blah....

The Fulwell Jr saw it last night and said it was difficult to follow and a canny few folks walked out well before the end.

Don't think I'll bother going to see it!
