Is getting a lot of abuse. Why is this? I thought he had a good game other than clamping down on Tiote's clumsy challenges early on.
He got everything else spot on.

Re: Referee
Agree. Tiote got away with too much, other than that he had a good game.

And Simpson should have gone. Terrible challenge on McClean and then his reaction to McCleans challenge on him.

Did quite well, but on another day Simpson and Tiote would have been sent off

Something happened at half time to get the players riled, I can't believe they'd be aware of the goings on on the touchline during the game.

Re: Referee
He got most decisions correct but I've never, ever seen a player told he's getting booked for 5 fouls. That's what Dean told tiote
Sorry but after booking Cattermole for his first foul that's complete double standards for me like

It's quite normal for persistent low-level fouls that aren't in themselves enough to warrant a caution, like. No double standards about it.

Re: Referee
Don't think there is a phrase in the laws equivalent to "repeated fouls" lead to a booking; can have 50 so long as they aren't "careless" or whatever the definition of a booking is
