Boro played us at our own game

Today, I felt that we played badly because the other team played like us. Boro absorbed the pressure and always looked dangerous on the break. Walking out, I heard a number of their fans saying that they'd created the better chances - you know, like we say every week.

I think we may well play better at the Riverside because of their reponsibility to force the play.

To me, we lacked presence in the middle of the park. We were short up front

they did pressure us, when they refer to chances they had 2, took one of them really well and didn't take one they should've. I don't recall them testing Mignolet other than McDonald's snapshot early doors.

They had us in the middle of the park and for a 20 minute spell we looked like we were going to overrun them but it never transpired.

Why on Earth do they have the responsibility to force the play? Being at home doesn't imply some contractual obligation to 'force the play'.

Well perhaps not for the full 20 minutes but straight after the goal we put a lot of pressure on them, the passes were clicking and we were stretching them but it petered out.
