what we NEED this summer

flair - wilfred zaha would do nicely

central midfielder that can put a foot on the ball - siguardsson would do nicely, although there will be a hell of competition. martin doeesn't seem to scout outside the british isles and i can't think of any others like that.

goal poacher - i'd take a gamble on jordan rhodes from huddersfield. stunning record although just league 1 but hey mcclean made the step up from a low standard too.

pacy right winger - chris burke, maybe? canny this season for brum and in his prime.

big man - bendtner would do, but recent comments about staying don't sound promising

a marquee signing from the continent to excite the fans like

bramble - bad press, too old and a bit shite
gardner - his occasional screamer doesn't make up for his piss poor all round game
elmo - too much of a confidence player. can't play away from home.
meyler - desperately needs regular game time and not going to get it here.
wickham - out on loan
ji - out on loan
