Just found a cracking deal on a 120 gig slimline with no games, or a 80gig with little big planet for £199 in sainbury's however it only comes with one year guruantee, and after my last ps3 I am not willing to take that. Are there any sites where I can pay, lets say £30 to get an extra year or two years warrenty? Also is there any difference in the 120 gb and the 80gb besides the memory?

Yeah, you can take out individual cover from an insurance company online though.

do playstation no longer offer continious play, i pay 4.99 per month when last console went off i had a replacement within 2 days hope this helps

This may sound like a strange reply but the 120 is smaller, mind on top of that it runs quiter and cooler and uses a lot less power. Sony claims the slim uses around 30% less power however an independant website did a comparison while watching a movie and it used less than half the power the old fat one did while running the same movie. It also bitstreams audio which the bigger one cannot. You lose linux (I think) on the new slim model though, mind I have no idea who has any use for that at all.
