Great photography locations in the UK

Just looking at Durdle Door again. It really is great, apart from the oodles of tripod monkeys that gather on suitable evenings.

Scotland - pretty much all of it north of Perth and west of Glasgow.

What are you favourites?

I've spent a lot of time shooting around Lindisfarne / Bamburgh.

Excellent location, particularly early morning.

Anywhere rural in Wales.

The Horshoe Pass for example in North Wales near Llangollan and Precipice Walk in the Trawsfynydd valley

I've never been the type to get up early to the beach to see the Sun rise on a morning on the East coast but on the West coast it's hard not to miss the Sun setting over the horizon whatever your motivation.

I think anywhere is good, but if you go to the "great photography locations" you risk getting clichéd photos.

Yes, you tend to end up with picture postcard pics but still worth it I think if you are at the location and it's beauty impresses you.
