I was there! One of the 6 times that I have seen Sunderland play at Wembley

I was there. Wembley deffo wasn't all standing...because I sat in the family end.

We lost to Wigan and mags lost to Tranmere if I remember correctly.

Leeds fans did a conga through the stand iirc

I remember going with the supporters association and staying in the Hilton overlooking lords cricket ground.
It was funny watching the doorman with a top Hat on opening the door for a coach load people most of whom were kids with a carrier bag

mags all had sombrero's on

That's when we were supporting tranmere as they were playing the mags

Me only real recollections of it were, ending up in the forest end for the final, the Leeds fans being right next to us! Some gagee singing I am the music man(full song) with our fans joining in in parts and sleeping in for the bus back home by 20 mins the football was shite like

aye i was there too, stayed at my aunties flat in London after the first night, though cant remember where the hell it was, the final seemed to be all Sunlan n Mags chanting at each other instead of the teams actually in the final, might have just felt that way, being in with our lot.

I was there it was a long two days. Remember stadium being divided into separate sections of fans and our fans joined in with whoever was in our end of the stadium. Remember wanting Wolves and Tranmere to win as well as Forest.
Most of the fans were gathered in the top section of the standing areas behind the goal and remember Leeds lot congoing around and ended up in the bottom tier of our bit. Looked like it was going to kick off but police interviened.
Was my first visit to Wembley, was about 14 years old.
