Can't see him going with only one left back tbh. Plus, he has said he needs to decide about 3 players- 1 defender, 1 midfielder and a striker, hence i think it is pretty certain he isnt going to take all 5 strikers

I probably agree, but I think with Carragher's versitility it allows us to take that extra striker that i think will be vital. If as we all suspect DB gets left at home that leaves Rooney, Crouch, Defore & Heskey. Wazza gets injured so we start with Crouch and Defoe against USA, but its not working and we need to change it up. You look to the bench and you have... Emile Heskey. Not the man to bring you a goal or to frighten the opposition defence. I just think it would be a monumental mistake to leave someone with Bent's record at home for a tournament that requires goals to be successful. I'd be saying it if he wasn't ours but I want it more because he is.
