I vaguely remember seeing him play, think I seen him at Roker when I 1st started going. How good was he? I always remember he was highly rated and my Dad used to rave about him.

in Quinnys book he talks of him as one of the best talents he ever played with, think they did their cruciates at around the same time luckily for Quinny he got to play again

I just remember him having promise in those few seasons before Sky and the Premier League. Would have been a multi-millionaire were it not for injury.
