aye groundsman is a canny bloke as well told me it has a bit of a slope near the main stand which the players were told to use as much as possible when they played Blackburn in the cup the other year. It nearly worked iirc ??

aye vaguely remember (live on bbc1 ??) . groundsman also told me he had been watching them for years and years and when they played wrexham at sid james he never got in due to the crowd/lock out. I never had the heart tell him i was a sunderland fan and i got in the gallowgate that night
