I still think we will qualify by beating Slovenia, obviously in the knock-out stages anything can happen, but the team needs a major rethink before the Slovenia game.

Shame the squad doesn't have enough in it to be able to change much.

That 1990 team didn't have Glen Johnson, Jamie Carragher or Emile Heskey in the side. Nor were they pampered millionaires constantly surrounded by people telling them how great they are.

Look at Rooney shouting at the camera tonight as he walked off. He doesn't even understand that it was a disgraceful performance. Blaming the fans, blaming anything but their glorious overhyped selves.

That's without comparing a draw with Holland as the same as Algeria.

Because we've beaten them in the recent past and we can beat them again, especially when they've already qualified and might even rest players.

It's a fucking shambles that I just mentioned that SLOVENIA might rest players.

I've been watching the collective pain from this side of the pond, and I commiserate with you all. Granted, it was a disappointing performance, but I'd still love to see England move on, and your fate is in your hands (just as it is for the US!). You have great players, and your national fans can take them forward, on to victory. Best of luck to y'all, and hopefully you won't get the referee from the USA/Slovenia match!

The only things I would say to that is that the performance and result against the dutch was a million miles away from waht we have seen so far and i still fancied us to get a result against Poland.

where as this time we've regressed in the second game and I don't see us getting a win against slovenia unless we improve significantly.

Not saying we won't beat Slovenia but we need to improve all over the park and particluarly off it.
