Depends what you're bothered about. If you're interested in actually being able to see who's who, or what's going on at the far end of the pitch, then the Sports Direct is pretty bad. But yeah, if you get stuck right at the back under the tin roof at Goodison it's pretty much impossible to see anything.

I've had far worse pillar views at Pompey than goodison

Some parts of Goodison might not give the best of views,but I like Goodison,its a proper traditional ground,like going back in time.Much prefer it to the likes of the Reebok etc.

Stamford Bridge was pretty crap last couple of times I went, which is a while as was b4 the price hikes.

It depends where your seats are. They range from "can't see anything" (back row of lower tier or behind a pillar) to "various things blocked out" (front of lower or back of upper) to actually pretty canny.

You end up paying the same price as someone who has a much worse/better view than you.

From any position you can help create a cracking atmosphere and that is more important (c.f., e.g., Wolves on the side where view was good but impossible to create an atmosphere).

iirc we have seen some awful sights at Goodison over the years
