    Default MON's transfer dealings

P.S. Likely SEB but couldn't see it.

    06/07
    Stiliyan Petrov........£6.5m
    Didier Agathe........Signed
    Chris Sutton........Free
    John Carew Lyon........Swap
    Ashley Young........£9.65m
    Shaun Maloney........£1m
    Nigel Reo-Coker........£7.5m
    Total: £24.65m

    07/08

    Marlon Harewood........£4m
    Zat Knight........£3.5m
    Moustapha Salifou........Nominal
    Wayne Routledge........£1.25m
    Total: £8.75m

    08/09

    Curtis Davies........£8m
    Steven Sidwell........£5m
    Brad Friedel........£2m
    Brad Guzan........£600K
    Nicky Shorey........Signed
    Luke Young........£5m
    Carlos Cuellar........£7.8m
    James Milner........Signed * think it was £12m
    Emile Heskey........£3.5m
    Total: £31.9m * + £12m

    09/10
    Stewart Downing........£12m
    Fabian Delph........Signed
    Habib Beye........Signed
    Stephen Warnock........Signed
    James Collins........£5m
    Richard Dunne........£5m
Total: £22,000,000 + Delph, Beye and Warnock

During this time he clawed back £32.6 mill and since then the club have clawed back an extra £63 mill from the sales of Milner, Downing and Young.

All in all some cracking buys, a few dodgies (Davies and Cuellar in particular) and a bad sale (Cahill for 5 mill).

    Cueller was excellent under O'Neill.

Davies does stick out but the fact is all managers sign shite, Ferguson definitely has, so has Mourinho, Cloughie, etc-you cant get it right 100% of the time.

not too great value for money at the time but over the time they have been there it's not too bad.

Harewood and Davies were awful signings

Swapping one that signs good players but cant win for another that signs shit players but can. Funny old game.
