    Default Cattermole - what does he give us ?

    Since he came back from suspension we have lost his bite in midfield. Obviously something had to give and this has been drummed into him. Surely other parts of his game would come to the fore;
    1. maybe his fine array of passing skills
    2. an undeterring willingness to get upfield and support our forwards maybe even chipping in with a goal or two
    3. the ability to pull oppostition players out of position creating space for his teammates
    4. plain and simple leadership.

    Or none of the above ? Like most of us I'd like him to do well for us but I can't see what he gives us

    A contender for the worst ever SAFC captain of modern times imo.

    He was our best passer of the ball today, only gave it away once compared to Henderson and Steed who made 18 unsuccessful passes between them.

    Bruce shouldn't have told him to stop tackling, he needs to drum it into him that he needs to pick and choose how and where he tackles very carefully, not take it away from him completely.

    Not judging him on today alone but over the last 4 games that would be very little then. He was poor against Villa and we caried him at Blackburn.
