point is we would need two. in the premiership competent squads have cover for all positions.

and a striker + 1 when bentdner goes
how did we as a club not see the imbalance in the squad over a number of seasons- bruce whats the reason

Very strange that we've needed a LB and LM for so long and never strengthened the positions. What's even more bizarre is that we should spend a large chunk of our budget on strikers who don't play but are the future of the club.

'none out there to get' is the usual cry.....yet the mags managed it easy enough.
it does beggar belief that out of three positions where we have no 'real' first choice player we failed to get even one let alone any cover.

We have been the same for years, it's hitting home more now as we are playing a lot more players out of position. We have been crying out for a left back for years and a couple of 'propper' wingers, since we let Andy Welsh go.
