does anyone think gyan's value is and was £7m and we paid over the odds ?

when we originally approached rennes the figures being mentioned were £7-8m and rennes didn't want to sell him.

we were deperate enough to push them until they eventually agreed to sell for £13m.

we quickly offloaded waghorn for £3m and scraped together the rest to do the deal.

in hindsight, this was gross mismanagement of our club's funds and all came about due to another lack of planning.
