FFS, you could get yourself a denim shirt to go with them so you look like Jeff on Sundays!

Would pay the extra and get the Clarks myself. Ebay and Amazon often bring up a few cheaper alternatives although i can't vouch on the quality.

Really like the look of the Pretty Green Clarks collaboration as they have a slimmer profile, but they are 95 quid.

Think that pretty green is a waste of money paying way over the odds for the lable as of the name.

You're paying for the name with the Pretty Green clobber, which i believe is of questionable quality! Although if Clarks are knocking them out they're chance to be decent, but more than likely not worth the extra coin!

The reason i want a cheaper alternative, is that i want a sand and a black pair!

They're made by Clarks to Gallaghers specifications. The reason I like them is because my only gripe with normall dessies are the sole is a bit too chunky for my likingn where as these ones have a slimmer heel.

They're on the website prettygreen.com. They don't look too good on there but i seen a picture of him wearing them and they looked spot on. I'll have to see them in the flesh before deciding on buying them though.

Agree about the PG label though. Bought a grandad shirt off there because i really liked the look of it. The quality seemed shit, particularly for the price so it went straight back.
