Shellfish - overrated nonsence
ate more shellfish when I was in france the other week than I'd eaten in my life.
people rave about it but I really can't see the real attraction.. ordered some Bulots in a gamble on the menu to be delivered a starter of 12 bloody whelks.. the missus thought it hilarious.. I wasn't going to let ther get the better of me so I scoffed them.. fortunately they came with a spicy garlic mayonaise to help them gan down.. why do people pay top dollar for stuff liek this..

cos its lush..me and the wife worked our way through a mountain of shrimp, oysters and crayfish when we were in Texas
actually if it ran, walked, swam or flew I probably ate it when we were there, and maybe even some crawling things as the crab was awesome as well 10:10 AM.. |

Depends on what you're after. I like most shellfish except oysters and, to a lesser extent crab and lobster (nice as they are, there's too much effort for the reward). Tend to prefer crustaceans to molluscs.
