I dont care how any of their fans try and spin it they are in alot of trouble like, the morale in the dressing room must be at such a low, their two most influential players have left and have been treated disgracefully to boot, a very very long season for that lot beckons

Think you're right. Their team spirit and togetherness was a huge part for them last season and that unity has been taken away.

I think this confirms what we though last year when it seemed Chrissy boy was a figurehead for Nolan and Barton running the team.
Pardew obviously doesn't like playing second fiddle and has shipped out the big gobs so he can be the big dog.

All we need now is for Pardew to appoint Mr Heath as his number 2

As a player in that squad they would recognise that the massive effort they put in towards team spirit during the last two seasons counts for precisely fuck all to the owners, who didnt bother rewarding the squad on their achievements. I cant see their players giving much of a shit this year, which could prove good viewing for the rest of us.

agree with Nolan but Barton deserves everything he gets- tweeting that he likes the smiths and saying he used to be a knob doesn't really make up for what he did. He was mean to Weetabix Head

apart from Tiote their midfield looks really lightweight now.

Marveux Tiote Cabaye Guttierez is their first choice if Ben Arfa is out for the start of the season

Just got this text from a mate who's a Mag:

"Our squad is still miles better than yours even without JB. Even Sammy will score more than Gyan and Wickham! We'll take 6 points off you scum this season and Barton will realise what an idiot he is!"

Now, being a Sunderland fan, I understand that people try to pick the positives out of the negatives to keep their spirits up, but this?

It's quite out of character for him because he usually talks a lot of sense. Still, grief does funny things to some, eh?

ps. By Sammy, I'm guessing he means Sammy Ameobi. Jesus Christ, Sammy fucking Lee's got more chance of scoring than he has!
