Mobile phone techy help Please.....

Whilst watching the match on Saturday I went and dropped my Android phone down the fucking toilet

It worked at first when I fished it out, so I turned it straight off and hoped it would dry out. Now I can turn it on, well the keyboard lights up and it makes the welcome sound, but there is no image on the screen.
It´s still under guarantee, will they techy people know straight away what happened? And refuse to give me a new one? And is it possible to fix this problem?
The phones with a contract and I don´t fancy paying the fifty euors a month for an internet phone, if I don´t have one.

Aye it makes sense now, although it was 2 days ago, so i´d have thought it will now be dry inside?

You'd have thought so but I doubt it. It's probably too late now if you've tried to turn it on... but you can give it a go. In the rice so it's completely submerged and leave it for a week without touching. Good luck!
