Renewing your driving licence photo

Just noticed I need to update my licence later this year as it's 10 years since the photo was taken.

Do they send you a reminder to do it? I'm crap at remembering to do stuff.

Also think it's a bit of a con as my boyish good looks haven't diminished over the last decade.

yep. I've got a reminder in my bag and has been for last 3 months.

I'm guessing my license may have expired. need to sort some photos out.

actually just looked. expired on the 1th January mine did

Ive still got my paper license and Im in no hurry to change it over.

Hadnt occurrred to me that you'd have to update it every 10 years. What do they charge for that?

Do it online and they get the photo from the passport agency

What's the point of renewing the sodding thing then - the photo on your passport could be 9 years old.

If your stopped you will be fined, and probably have you're car took off you.

Watch out marra, this happened to a mate of mine, impounded his car as his insurance was void etc
