Default Does Consett have a decent hotel or even a B&B?

I've been invited to a big birthday bash at leadgate cricket club in April ... but we'll need somewhere to crash afterwards.

    ... any suggestions?

    cheers

Taxi home. Get it booked as well. You cannot get out of Consett without a taxi being booked.

There's nowt in Consett really is the end of the world even if you drop down to Stanley there's one or two places round Beamish and if you head further up the 68 to Hexham. TBF Consett wasn't built as a tourist destination, Iron works and railways.
