had some canny times in there

as a kid going round saturday morning to watch movies

the guy gilly gatesy talk in circa 99, when superkev turned up on the day he got his england call up

then spending a year drinking in there whilst i was barred from the hastings hill

pretty certain me fatha was there a month or two ago so presume its still open, coule be wrong like

My kids live just round the corner from the Grindon club.

It's still open although it's about 6 months since I've been in.

Yes they still get strippers on a sunday. Haven't been in about a year but was talking to a member the other day and everything is pretty much the same except its not as busy I remember sunday afternoons in there ya couldnt get a seat in any room was always packed.

Have some fond memories of grindon club like, I had me first ever pint in there and won canny wedges of money playing the fruit machines and three card brag the stakes on a sunday were mental.
