Why do people waste their money? Birthdays, Christmas, mothers day, fathers day, easter, get well soon and I have even received a few for passing my driving test. No one really cares about them, do they?

Christmas cards are the biggest culprit - I get loads from my parents friends I haven't seen for donkeys and couldn't give a monkeys about to be brutal - that afternoon sent writing them out is a total chore. I do love the cards I get for birthdays tho and the 'family' ones for Christmas and stuff - save them from my niece and nephew as they're a nice keepsake and always say I'm the best aunty in the world etc

Gift bags are the biggest con going, and wrapping paper as well. I'd be much happier if people gave me a present in a carrier bag sans card and bought me a pint with the cash saved. I can't wait to get the fucking cards in the bin after the event, cluttering up the place. Bah humbug.

I usually do that bit but it's more reflective of my present wrapping skills than anything else.

It is like, last place I worked I never ever used to put in for owt, if you went for a shit there was a card and a box of chocolates on your desk.

Funny thing was as well I got married and on the day before I broke up not one person said good luck when I left so it just shows how pathetic it is, if you don't give them cash they wish ill of you.

    I had visions of:

    *Clinton Cards*

'It's my wife's Birthday coming up next week and i've picked out this card for her which i know you'd like me to buy'

Cashier: 'ok, that'll be £2.49 please'

'I refuse. I refuse point blank to purchase this card. Good day to you.'
