That is true - we need a striker without a doubt.....however our blundering right full-back 10 yards out of position whilst Torres was on his own was a bigger issue today

    pretty standard man management tactics.

we dont have a 20 goals a season striker- Bendtner is supposed to think 'ill show you' and score fuck loads.
cant be the nice guy all the time

torres moved away from him, granted he should/could have stuck with him.
dont really follow the abuse bardo gets after last season.
we were unlucky today, on another day we could easily have scored at least 4 but they got the luck today for the goal, i thought we played well to have them in a wee bit of a panic towards the end.

That makes no sense. It would take a 35 million quid striker to score them goals, but a League 2 fullback would have scored them?

    Read it again...

Martin O’Neill said it would take £35 million to find the goalscorer that Sunderland need to put away the opportunities they create after claiming a non-league defender would have been more prolific against Chelsea.

I think MON just means that the chances today were so good it shouldn't have needed a 20 goals a season man to score from them and that 20 a season strikers cost 35m ( As do overated scumbags that score far less)
