    Default 'Pathetic' pressure bothers Bruce

    http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11695_7126463,00.html

    Quote:
"It engulfs you with two results, which I find disappointing," said Bruce, whose side travel to Swansea on Saturday.

"It shows you how difficult it is up here. The mass hysteria, I find some of it pathetic, to be honest.
Is he wrong? Obviously there are arguments for and against..

The quote that pissed me off the most..

    Quote:
"But then again, you come to expect it. It's two games (the defeats), and nobody is going to tell me in that Newcastle game that they were far better than us. They weren't.

The Swans v The Black Cats
"We made a mistake for the goal and were punished for it. I have seen the game three times over and nobody is going to tell me that we didn't deserve any better.

"We deserved to get something out of the game. That's how it was."
He can't argue that it isn't his job to get wins whether we play well or badly. He's worryingly missing the point with regards to that.

EDIT: This is SEB. Fuck my life and those who know me.

Give over man....all managers are like that....they don't love the club like the supporters do...it's a job to them.

But it's not 'two results' that's the problem, Steve, for the vast majority of those whose confidence in you as our manager is waning. It's things like selecting Elmo while leaving Vaughan and Gardner on the bench; insisting that Sessegnon is a striker, that Richardson is a full-back. Starting with one/no strikers and then flooding the pitch with them when the situation is desparate. Failing to instil the expected level of passion and fight into the team, so that average teams (eg Fulham, the Mags, Wolves.....} can comfortably see out games once ahead and there's more......
