He has been responsible for a few great implosions over the years , Keegan being one of the more memorable ones up until today .

Says more about Keegan than it does about Fergies 'mind games'. All he said was that he hoped Leeds but in the same effort against Newcastle as they did against Man United and that Wilkinson deserved more from his players.

All Keegan had to do was agree and say something like 'I hope Leeds are professional'.
