I heard Zenden talking on Radio Newcastle yesterday, he is the pick of our midfield, can't get a game and he's almost certainly on his way. He sounded very p-ssed off. Who needs him when we have Henderson, the latest Leadbitter ( he could at least get a goal now and then).

You sure that isn't the number of tackles, forward passes to a fellow sunderland player and goals combined

we need a bit of power in the midfield as well, a dickson etuhu size sort of player. too small and weak for me.

Gyan

With zenden and steed in their at least theres a bit nouse and creativity, catts the work horse (without clipping balls across our own box obviously) and rico and welbeck either side supporting gyan.

I can't think of any other Premiership team with such poor stats for midfielders - that's because there isn't one. Fucking shocking that, absolutely shocking.

And it's not like they're even creating good chances for the forwards. It's like a black hole or something..
