Jobs Market picking up?

I've had 3 unsolicited approaches from agencies this week, all for posts that would be substantial pay rises - are we seeing a return to confidence in the economy?

it defintitely seems to be picking up a little, but I'm still not convinced we're out of it yet. Witness the agencies mass mailing any owld pleb in a desperate attempt to try and get their placements for example

The operations director of the company where I work seems pretty sure that things are picking up - we certainly do have a large number of orders for the next couple of month ahead.

Looks like it is picking up. Which is strange as it is August which is usually quiet time.

My client has at least 5 roles they are interviewing for now from Head of Transition to Head of Operations. Taking in interims in the short term with a view to long term appointments.

I'm getting a dozen emails a day and couple of phone calls every 3 to 4 days. Doesn't say they actually have a role though. Agents are fishing like fuck for leads cos it's quiet.
