What have you been to see at the theatre?
I've seen The Hobbit, Clockwork Orange, Page 3 Girls, the ballet and various pantomimes, all at the Empire Theatre.
I think I saw a pantomime once at the Theatre Royal as a nipper, but it was a bit shite, and our kid spent all the money my mam had give us for ice cream on himself, the greedy fucker.
Canny culchural me like.

Re: What have you been to see at the theatre?
Quite a lot over the years - off the top of my head...
Several pantomimes
A smattering of Shakespeare
Some Rupert Bear thing as a kid
Trainspotting
Fever Pitch (a one man show starring Tom Watt)
Gaddafi: The Opera
An Ibsen play called Ghosts (which was miserable)
some play a mate wrote (student production). I've seen other student stuff but that stands out.
Abigail's Party
Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Re: What have you been to see at the theatre?
At the Theatre Royal, a few Shakespere plays, A Man for all Seasons with Charlton Heston, which was class. Veterans Day with Jack Lemmon and Michael Gambon, which was also class. And loads of Panto's when i was a kid.
At The Empire, Buddy and Saturday Night Fever which were both excellent. I also saw Freddie Star who was crap and when i was 13 i went to see Mud in concert
