    Default WBA fans yesterday

I have always had time for WBA as they have been just like us over the last 30 years. A bit of a Yo Yo club.
Yesterday was more proof that away support is going tits up.
The smallest numbers they have ever brought to the SOL?
Even at 2 up they were quiet to say the least.
Or has the word got around that our stewards don't let you create an atmosphere

With the exception of the mags away, Id be surprised if the remaining away games don't go to general sale

Football's heading towards a bit of a lull in my opinion, similar to the early eighties up until Euro '96 when even people who said they didn't like football started to follow a team and jump on the bandwagon. Players aren't bothered about which team they play for these days, it's all about the filtyh lucre. Gyan, BŁnt, Barton, Tevez et al supporters don't want their hard earned cash going into the pockets of those types of mercanaries.

Also you have the fact that there is no competition anymore, in the top flight anyway. Man City have blitzed everyone out of the water, not because they have played their way to the top but because they bought their way there. Teams like us can spend Millions on one player Ł13M on Gyan being a prime example and it goes to waste.

Basically the fans are getting sick of it I think? Bramble's another case in point, plays shite on a Monday night, goes out and gets himself into bother with the law on the Tuesday. do you really want your cash going into the pockets of peole like this?
