Police corruption
A trial of eco protestors in nottingham has been abandoned after it turns out the person providing funds and transport was an undercover copper. Once the prosecution realised he was appearing for the defence the cps are offering no evidence. The whole thing stinks especially as 20 were found guilty last week for the same incident. The police actions must have been bad for 2 trial to be abandoned. Seems to go beyond entrapment

Not right at all. He wasn't an officer of the law but an agent provocateur. Seems like he went native - not the first and not the last in that respect.
