Its the Bums on seats that will see Bruce off...

The sight on Saturday was quite shocking as it was obvious... 14,000 empty seats which is exactly what SNQ or Mr Short do not want...

The reasons for the lack of supporters turning up is plain to see to all and sundrie. Forget the cost, supporters will come indroves again IF the club are showing they want sucess and the football is a joy to watch.

They will abandon the club because they ar not blind or idiots to know that the broken promises of Bents & Welbeck replacements and even, dare I say it, a left full back and left winger promised and "trust me" by Bruce have not materialised despite it being nearly 10 months since Bent left and almost a 14 months since Welbeck was signed on LOAN.

The other side of the coin is that the present playing staff show how far the club have moved or stopped dead in the water. Professional footballers as the term suggests are professional and should be able to at least kick or pass a ball to another player something that the messages from Steve Bruce seems to neglect to mention.

Only good football and results will encourage supporters back . Sucess on the field ,something sadly lacking at the minute and for the foreseeable future imo, will fill the seats at the SoL,something we all want to see for those with Sunderland at Heart. Gyan not included.

As for the pressure to deliver as Steve Bruce continues to speak about... Steve Try having a year or two of not having a job and collecting dole money and you will know what presure is all about mate.

Its going to be very interesting to see how far the club allow the decline to continue.
