    Default Our increasingly adaptable squad

I put a thread up at the start of the season about how Bruce's transfer policy was to get players in that can play competently in many positions.

Now with Sess (across the midfield/off the striker) and Muntari (Left Mid and Center) we have an abundant midfield that could manage in an injury crisis.

Our midfield options now are huge

    LM - Muntari/Zenden/Reid/Malbranque/Ricco/Sessegnon

    CM - Muntari/Sessegnon/Cattermole/Henderson/Zenden/Meyler

    AM - Sessegnon/Malbranque/Ricco/Cook

    DM - Meyler/Catts/Muntari/

    RM - Elmo/Henderson/Sessegnon/

I think this tactic is very intelligent recruitment. We have benefited in the defence already this season. By the summer I expect us to have 4 premier league quality strikers fit and working together.

Assuming we play 451 - what is the best midfield combo?

we went through that run last year due to injuries. bruces first priority seems to have been to sort that out and get players in who can play all over the shop. job done there i think and we really are reaping the awards. we had our defnce all injured and still kept going strong. fucking top marks,
in my life reidy has been the best manager but bruce is closing in quickly.
when we hired bruce i supported it as it would take us to the next level (mid table shit) but he seems to have almost skipped that bit

    Tough one, possibly:

    Muntari Cattermole

    Henderson Sessegnon Malbranque

    ?

Is Bruce modelling our front 5 on the United model in his latter days. Hit teams on the counter attack with pace. Gyan, Hendo and Richardson with Sess playing the Scholes role with a hard bastard like Keane in Catts/Muntari breaking up the play
