....specifically their 'own brand range'.

Is it just my taste buds or is virtually everything bland and tasteless ?

Not the 'Smart price' stuff but almost everything I've tried, breakfast cereal, chocolate, biscuits etc has been poor.

Only really buy fruit, veg and household gear from there now.

Mrs used to work in ASDA offices and she said that a lot of ASDAs own brand stuff is actually food from the top makers, like the chocolate digestives are actually from McVities etc
